Deciding to seek counseling is the first and most important step in achieving your goals and creating a happier, healthier you. Whether you are struggling with stress, your marriage has hit an impasse, your child is facing peer issues, relationship troubles, using substances, or finding school difficult... counseling can be the change in direction needed to refocus and enhance the quality of life. Choose a genuine therapist who puts you, your family, and your goals first. I work with couples, families, at risk youth, LGBTQ youth, adjudicated youth, and individuals. Clients I work with have goals related to substance abuse intervention and prevention, anxiety and depression treatment, educational/academic issues, relationship and communication issues, individuals seeking parenting strategies for children, and families desiring better coping skills. I am bilingual (English, Spanish) and also know American Sign Language (TTY, Florida Relay calls, Video Relay Service). ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) Certified; QPR (Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper) certified professional. I can provide day, evening, and occasionally weekend hours as needed.
