Dr. F. Vega, Ph.D., Psy.D., H.S.P.P. Dr. Vega has earned degrees from the University of Indiana, the University of Minnesota, and the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He holds both the Doctor of Philosophy and the Doctor of Psychology degrees and has more than 30 years of combined experience in the fields of higher education, research, and counseling/therapy. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Health Services Professional in Psychology, a member of the American Psychological Association, and a member of the American Academy of Medical Hypnoanalysts. Dr. Vega is bilingual (fluent in both English and Spanish) experience in diagnostics, treatment, and mind-body interactions or approaches to treatment that are especially well suited for the following clients: Individuals with histories of anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders, as well as with histories of drug/alcohol abuse Individuals who have experienced major losses, stressors, or changes in their lives such as the death of a loved one; unresolved grief or bereavement; divorce or estrangement of a significant other; loss of a job or vocation; or adjustment to retirement;
