You'll also find useful and encouraging information about my background, training, interests, and more. (I provide services via telephone to people outside the greater Providence area. Currently my long-distance clients include people from Florida, Illinois, and California. Phone sessions really do work!) My consulting space is a room (with working fireplace) in a Victorian home dating from 1883. The setting is private and warmly personal, altogether conducive to sustained and relaxed high-quality effort on both our parts. I welcome as clients not only individuals, but also couples and families. PLEASE NOTE: Pastoral counseling is NOT "religious" counseling. I have no use for hand-me-down dogmas and compulsory beliefs. Central to the practice of pastoral counseling is the idea that a human life should be "about" something, should in some way be meaningful.
