I am a Marriage and Family Resident Therapist serving individuals, couples, and families, and individuals in the Atlanta area. My practice is inclusive and serves both heterosexual and gay and lesbian individuals and couples and their families. I focus on reducing conflict, improving communications, and helping to heal relationship wounds. I help families deal with behavioral issues in adolescent children as well as managing major family transitions like the birth of a child, divorce and remarriage, and other conflicts. With several years experience in inpatient mental health facilities I also help individuals and families dealing with major mental health issues. My work is always client focused and based on the concerns, goals, and hopes of clients. Methods of treatment include Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples (EFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT) as well as analytic and psychodynamic methods.
