I offer psychotherapy to adolescents and young adults in the Nashville area. I specialize in trauma recovery work, including sexual trauma, sexual assault, and symptoms of PTSD. I work with clients to identify and engage the areas of abuse and trauma that have been perceived as either life shattering or less severe. Through intentional listening, attunement and interpretive reflection, I help clients gain a greater sense of autonomy and self-care; enabling them to experience healthy realtionships with self and others. The residual effects of trauma can often leave a person in need of a caring and considerate presence; I provide a safe space to explore one's narrative and make sense of confusing or hurtful parts of the past. I believe that I am on sacred ground when engaging the stories of others and consider it a privilege to be a part of the painful process that brings restoration and healing. Together we will find creative, unique ways to bring healing, fullness, and rest.
