I am dedicated to helping individuals discover and enhance their own emotional capacities. I work to foster growth in one's sense of self, leading to stronger interpersonal relationships and a more fulfilling life. Through the therapeutic experience of being genuinely understood by another in a safe and honest relationship, individuals develop an increased kindness for themselves and others. They are able to experience a true sense of self-esteem, leading to new ways of relating to others, while developing an increased tolerance for difficult emotions, and transforming destructive patterns in their lives into more satisfying expressions of the self. My style of therapy is warm, thoughtful, and compassionate. I work with individuals who are struggling with a wide range of concerns which may include: anxiety, stress, relationship problems, adjustment disorders, depression, trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, low self-esteem, body image, and identity issues. I draw upon a broad theoretical background including psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I am currently working toward licensure and under the supervision of Dr. Paul Foxman as a Psychologist Intern at Otter Creek Associates, Center for Anxiety Disorders.
