I am passionate about helping adults and adolescents take back their lives from OCD and anxiety. I work with clients who have OCD and related disorders and anxiety disorders. I see clients in the office, in their homes, or other places therapy may take us! As co-founder and OCD Spokesperson for OCD Georgia, I am also actively involved in building awareness of OCD and its appropriate treatment in the community through speaking engagements. I am under the direction and supervision of Jenn Vann, LMFT, and under the supervision of Kathleen McKinney Clark, LPC, President of OCD Georgia. I earned a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. I specialize in the research-based treatment for OCD, exposure and response prevention (ERP), a type of CBT. I was the keynote speaker for the 2013 International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) conference in Atlanta July 19-21 (www.ocd2013.org) with my story "Is Fred in the Refrigerator?" I was honored to have been awarded a 2012 Clinician Trainee Award by the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA).
