In the 30 years of practicing the art of psychotherapy, I continue to grow and learn from the clients I work with. I am licensed as a psychotherapist and certified nationally as a substance abuse counselor. Thinking outside of the "conventional therapist box" allows me to provide therapy to individuals, families, addicts and their systems of all ages. My approach is eclectic-meaning the training and experience I have has created a skill base that is able to meet the needs and respect each client that I travel with on their journey toward personal growth and emotional health. I am licensed as a psychotherapist both in the state of Florida and nationally. I work with all issues and am certified both nationally and in Florida as a Substance abuse counselor-providing DOT evaluations as well as Critical Incident Debriefings. I provide therapy to military personnel. In our practice we provide not only all forms of psychotherapy but also medication evaluations by Board Certified psychiatrists. Our philosophy is that in times of overwhelming symptoms medication may be necessary in order for therapy to be optimally effective.
