I draw on my 25 years in the field of counseling psychology to help you understand yourself better, and find more acceptance and peace. By listening carefully, and by taking a deep interest in your life, I can help you sort out the challenges of being human. I offer a compassionate and non-judgemental environment in which to explore your longings, fears, blind spots and conflicts. I am an active therapist, who looks for your strengths, and helps you uncover inner hidden resources. I also offer practical tools to help you become more resilient, and to develop more satisfying relationships. Unfortunately, stress cannot be avoided. You can learn to face life directly and compassionately, and to better manage common events, such as raising children, making a living, disagreements, differences, and more profound stressors like divorce, affairs, abuse, chronic and terminal illnesses. My goal is to help you embrace life and rise to its challenges. I am married and a mother of two.
