Are you wanting your child or adolescent to have a a deeper understanding and appreciation of their unique self, as well as efficacy to deal with the challenges they face? Are you looking for that yourself? I provide clients with an engaging and supportive environment, one that is supportive of discovery, growth and development. I'm passionate about helping young people develop awareness and appreciation for their quirky and developing individuality, as well as helping them develop the skills they need to feel empowered. Working primarily with depth therapy techniques, the goal is deeper understanding of the self, as well as release of energy for moving toward desired outcomes. With children and adolescents, I am also goal directed and solution focused. As well, I help parents support their children/teens. I have many years of experience as a special education teacher in both elementary and high school. I've also enjoyed a long career as a dancer/choreographer and am interested in working with clients in creative process. That said, what's more creative than discovering and nurturing the Self?
