I work with families, couples and individuals. I believe that every client has the right to feel safe as they explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Within each human being there is the potential for growth. It is my goal to create a safe, holistic, and respectful environment, developing a collaborative relationship between client/therapist that promotes personal growth through support, validation and challenge. As a clinician, I utilize an existential family approach, focusing on the process of therapy as a means of gaining insight and allowing for individuals and families to live more congruently with who they are and who they want to become. I am a co-founder of Existential-Humanistic NorthWest, a professional organization that works to impact the world through existential-humanistic values of authenticity, integrity, responsibility, inclusion, and awe. I am also a member of the Existential-Humanistic Institute in San Francisco and the Society of Existential Analysis in London.
